Seattle Sea Dragons vs. Arlington Renegades Betting Preview
Seattle Sea Dragons
If the Sea Dragons are known for one thing, it is their incredible offensive statistics. If you were to base the Sea Dragons vs Renegades odds solely off of scoring the ball, Seattle would win by a landslide. The Sea Dragons lead the league in passing yards, stemming from the ability of quarterback Ben DiNucci.
DiNucci has an astonishing 1500 yards in just six regular season games, throwing for 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Although the turnover rate is high, there are still flashes of greatness everywhere. Not only DiNucci is playing well, but his receiving corp may be the best in the league.
Receiver Jahcour Pearson’s name floods XFL news with his incredible 448 yards so far on the season, ranking first in a dominating fashion. However, both of his receiving counterparts Josh Gordon and Blake Jackson, rank in or near the top 10 in receiving yards as well.
Arlington Renegades
Where the Sea Dragons thrive on offense, the Renegades show up on defense. Although their XFL scores may not pop off of the stat sheet, they have held it together well.
They rank second in forced fumbles with six while also recovering six for second place once again. They also rank second in interceptions and interception return touchdowns, with seven and two, respectively.
What makes this defense so dangerous is linebacker Donald Payne. He is all over the field, rushing the passer and making plays. His 48 total tackles ranks second in the league, with both his solo and assisted tackles landing in the top 10. He also does this with three TFLs and half a sack, which will only be improved upon.
Balanced Attack on the Field
Although their defense is their strongest piece, the offense is no slouch. De’veon Smith at running back is a sight to see, ranking 4th in rushing yards on the season. What may be more impressive is Tight End Sal Cannella, who has 218 receiving yards.
This is the second most yards recorded by a player listed as a tight end, only behind Cody Latimer of the Orlando Guardians. However, he is the team’s leading receiver and still can barely touch the top 15 in yards.
