Team History
Not only is FC Barcelona one of the best and most supported clubs in Spain, but it is also among the most popular football clubs worldwide. It has one of the largest social media followings, owns the largest stadium in Europe (the 99,354-seat Camp Nou), has had some of the best players of all time (Lionel Messi and Xavi, to name a couple), and has won dozens and dozens of domestic and international titles.
Founded in 1899, the 122-year-old club is also the fourth most valuable sports franchise with an estimated worth of $4.76 billion. It is one of three La Liga founders that has never been relegated along with Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao.
Regarding individual player success, Barcelona betting leads all other clubs with a record seven FIFA World Player of the Year honors. The highlight of its player development program, however, occurred in 2010, when three of its former youth academy players (Messi, Andrés Iniesta, and Xavi) were selected as the three best players in the world.
Barcelona – Historical Events
It’s hard to pinpoint any one year as more important than others for Barcelona stats. The club won its first La Liga title in 1929 and has since won the top of the table an additional 25 times. It won its first of five UEFA Champions League titles in 1991-92.
Its best-ever year, however, was in 2009, when it became the first club to win the continental treble, which includes La Liga, Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League. Barcelona also won the UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and Spanish Super Cup that season.

Who are the FC Barcelona Best Coaches?
While Barcelona has had several accomplished managers throughout its La Liga standings history, the club’s best manager has to be Johan Cruyff.
