Team History
Once a prestigious club and mainstay in La Liga standings, Elche FC is working to earn back the reputation it had during the 1960s and 1970s. Elche participated in La Liga odds all but two seasons from 1959-60 to 1977-78 and finished as high as fifth in 1963-64. The club finished top 10 in the table in seven of eight seasons from 1961-62 to 1970-71.
Elche stats was relegated to the Segunda División for the 1978-79 season and only played four seasons in La Liga betting stats in the next 40 years. It earned entry back to the La Liga schedule for the 2020-21 season and is now entering its third consecutive year in La Liga, the first time it has achieved such a feat since the late 1970s.
Elche stats was founded in 1923 following a merger of two local teams. Following periods of relative success over the following 50 years, it went into a financial crisis in the late 1980s and into the 1990s. The club appears to be trending in the right direction, finishing 13th in La Liga standings in 2021-22.

Elche’s first-ever goal in La Liga odds was scored by Vicente Pahuet in a 1-1 draw against Real Oviedo in 1959.
Despite being nearly 100 years old, Elche betting has yet to win a major championship of any kind, but was consistently a top 10 team in the Tercera and Segunda Divisións. It finished first in the Tercera División in seven of 19 seasons. It finished top of the Segunda División table twice (1958-59 and 2012-13).
