The Denver Broncos will travel to FirstEnergy Stadium on Thursday night to take on the Cleveland Browns in an AFC matchup. The Broncos are 3-3 and are coming off a 34-24 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Derek Carr finished going 35-of-49 for 334 yards with three touchdowns and interceptions.

The Browns are 3-3 and are coming off a 37-14 loss against the Arizona Cardinals. Baker Mayfield is currently questionable for this upcoming game but finished 19-of-28 for 234 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

Sutton or Nothing

The Denver Broncos have been passing the ball well, with wide receiver Courtland Sutton getting the majority of the catches. So far this year, he has 33 receptions for 471 yards (14.3 yards per catch) with a pair of touchdowns.

In their previous game against the Raiders, he finished with eight receptions on 14 targets for 94 yards (11.8 yard per catch) and a touchdown. If he can be even more involved in the passing game, it will really help out Teddy Bridgewater and the rest of the offense.

The Denver Broncos are doing pretty well on the defensive side of the football as they are allowing 18.3 points per game. In their last game against the Las Vegas Raiders, they gave up 34 points on 426 total yards of offense (340 passing, 86 rushing).

They did well at forcing the punt team on as the Raiders were just 4-of-11 on third down. They need to play better in the secondary, as Carr averaged 11.7 yards per pass attempt. If they can sure up here, they will be in a better spot.

Security Blanket

The Cleveland Browns love to pass the ball, and tight end David Njoku has been the recipient of the passing attack. So far this season, he has 15 receptions for 266 yards (17.7 yards per catch) with a touchdown.

In their last game against the Cardinals, he struggled with just one catch on two targets for six yards. If he can be more involved in the offense, it will do wonders for their chances.

The Cleveland Browns have been an average defensive team as they are giving up 25.2 points per game. In their previous game against the Arizona Cardinals, they gave up 37 points on 352 total yards of offense (208 passing, 144 rushing).

They need to step up as they allowed the Cards to go 8-of-15 on third down and converted their only fourth-down attempt. They need to defend better overall, as Arizona averaged 5.1 yards per play. They should improve here against a weaker offensive team.

Who Should We Bet?

The Cleveland Browns are decimated with injuries as Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr, and Nick Chubb all listed as questionable on a short week while Kareem Hunt was placed on Injured Reserve. The Broncos are doing well on the offensive side and should be able to win here by a touchdown in Cleveland as they are dealing with key players being hurt.

The Denver Broncos have covered in five of the last seven games against the Cleveland Browns. All in all, go with the Denver Broncos to cover here on the road.
