Warriors at Bulls Stats
Looking at the Golden State Warriors stats
Golden State is not a huge force offensively so far as they are currently 12th in the NBA, averaging 109.5 points per game. They are adding shooting guard Klay Thompson back into the fold, and that will only help alleviate the scoring pressure off of point guard Stephen Curry.
He has been in a little bit of a slump lately but is averaging 26.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game, but he is shooting 38.4 percent from deep (he is shooting 43 percent for his career).
The Warriors have been the best defensive team in the entire league this season as they are giving up 101.7 points per game, and their opponents are shooting a league-best 42.8 percent against them. This team is full of solid players that can defend on the court, and that is why it is so difficult to defeat this Golden State team.
Looking at the Chicago Bulls stats
This Bulls offense has been doing pretty well as they are eighth in the league with 111.5 points per game. They have been attacking the basket, and it has worked out as they are second with a team field goal percentage of 47.6 percent. Small forward DeMar DeRozan is playing well as he is averaging 26 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists a night.
Chicago has been an average defensive team this season as their 107.8 points allowed is 14th in the league right now. A big reason why is teams are shooting the three-ball well against them as they hit on 35.7 percent of them. The Bulls have the pieces to be a better defensive team but have not figured out how to make that click as of yet.
