One of the 16 NCAA basketball games on the March Madness schedule today will feature 11th-seeded Providence and 6th-seeded Kentucky. This matchup can go either way because the 11th vs 6th matchups have been like this for several seasons in the NCAA Tournament.
During the regular season, the Friars in the college basketball standings finished with a 21-11 overall record and a 13-7 record in Big East play and were seeded fifth. As for the Wildcats, they were also 21-11 overall record-wise and finished third in the SEC Conference at 12-6.
A Providence vs Wildcats prediction will be based on the flip of a coin because the records are the same despite being an 11 vs six contest. This will be based on the judgment of what you feel is the better team.
This is one of those games that makes it very hard to get a March Madness perfect bracket. So many people will be split on this matchup, which is not automatic on either side.
