Overview
The Golden State Warriors (47-27) and Miami Heat (47-25) prepare to face off on Wednesday night.
Last games records
Golden State enters play in the midst of a rough spell. The Warriors have dropped three games in a row including an embarrassing loss against one of the worst teams in the NBA in the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.
Miami is 6-4 over the course of their past ten games. But they are coming off of a defeat at the hands of the 76ers in Philadelphia.

Let’s take a look at the NBA betting odds and sports betting guides for this game.
Warriors at Heat Betting Analysis
Golden State Warriors Betting Analysis
The Warriors are laboring right now. They have lost back-to-back games against subpar teams including the Spurs and the Magic. It should be noted that Steph Curry was not active for Tuesday’s contest.
Nonetheless, this is a team with enough depth to overcome his absence most of the time. But that was not the case in Orlando.
The Warriors turned the ball over 18 times against the Magic which ultimately led to their downfall. They also shot just 40 percent from the field while dishing out just 21 assists.
Jordan Poole led the team in scoring with 26 points to go along with six assists. Klay Thompson added 15 points on 2-7 shooting from beyond the arc.
With Steph Curry injured, the Warriors desperately need to tighten up their offense and take care of the basketball. Although they may not be able to score as often as they would like without their superstar point guard on the floor, this is still a team that can limit turnovers.
Golden State has fallen to third place in the Western Conference standings and are in danger of dropping even more with Utah and Dallas trailing them closely.
Miami Heat Betting Analysis
Miami holds a two-game advantage over second place Milwaukee. But the Bucks have been red hot over the past couple of weeks and are applying plenty of pressure on the Heat.
The Heat dropped a golden opportunity to take care of the Sixers in Philadelphia on Monday since they were playing without both Joel Embiid and James Harden. But Miami was unable to get the job done and ended up losing 113-106.
The Heat posted a top-heavy performance. Jimmy Butler finished with 27 points while Bam Adebayo scored 22 and Kyle Lowry added 20. But nobody else on the team scored more than 14 points which led to a fairly underwhelming night from an offensive standpoint for Miami.
Butler, Adebayo, and Lowry did all they could in the loss. Butler and Lowry both dished out six assists while Adebayo grabbed nine boards but it was not enough.
Most betting guides listed the Heat as heavy favorites despite playing on the road and they were obviously unable to uphold the spread.
They will look to rebound and find more balance against the struggling Warriors at home.
Updates
Steph Curry (foot) is expected to be reevaluated in 1-2 weeks.
Draymond Green called out his Warriors for playing “soft” and “reckless” following Tuesday night’s loss. Green is a well-respected veteran and perhaps his words light a fire for Golden State moving forward.
- Golden State is 35-33-4 ATS this season.
- Miami is 40-31-1 ATS this year.
- The Heat are 18-17 ATS at their home arena.
- The Warriors are 15-17-2 ATS on the road.
Warriors at Heat Betting Preview
The majority of NBA picks are being thrown in Miami’s favor given their home-court advantage and the Warriors’ struggles as of late. I do like the fact that Green stepped up and called his team out and I expect a far better effort overall from Golden State.
However, unless someone such as Klay Thompson or Jordan Poole lights up the scoreboard on Wednesday night, Miami should be able to emerge victorious at home.

How to Bet on Warriors at Heat
The majority of top sportsbooks favor the Heat by 5-7 points. Although Golden State should be in line for better performance, the Heat will cover that spread in the end if they are able to earn the win.
