Max Verstappen and Red Bull have won every race except for the 2022 São Paulo Grand Prix for a calendar year, including eclipsing McLaren’s legendary record for most consecutive Grand Prix wins, scoring their twelfth-straight win in Hungary.
Considering the rocketship that the RB-18 was in the 2022 Belgian Grand Prix and the RB-19 has been all season, we’re expecting an eighth-straight win for Verstappen and a thirteenth-consecutive win for Red Bull at the legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
Aside from being one of Insidersbettingdigest’s favorite circuits in motorsports, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps characteristics open numerous betting options up and down the grid, with Super Max leading our Belgian Grand Prix predictions.

Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix Circuit Information and Recent Results
As mentioned, the circuit characteristics of Spa-Francorchamps are key to successful Belgian Grand Prix predictions and betting wins. Spa-Francorchamps is the longest lap on the Formula 1 schedule. It rewards power and low-drag cars due to the long, flat-out section and fast corners. In this circuit, we expect a car like the Williams FW-45 to land in Q3 and fight for points.
There are four previous winners, including Ricciardo (2014), Leclerc (2019), and Lewis Hamilton (2010, 2015, 2017, 2020). However, there is only one number 1 on the grid, and he has won the last two Belgian Grand Prix (2021-2022).
Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix Betting Preview and Prediction
Max Verstappen/Red Bull Racing
Everything revolves around Max Verstappen and Red Bull to win. While there aren’t any prop bets to work with, taking a wide array of Verstappen to finish in the top-six, score points, and in any head-to-head battles. While some of these lines won’t have great value, they’re almost guaranteed wins.
Verstappen has finished in the top two in every GP this season and has finished on the podium in both Sprint Races in 2023.
Qualifying
However, qualifying is where they can be caught out, as the RB-19 is usually set up for Sunday and not Saturday. The Sprint weekend format creates further complications, considering the Teams will have one practice session to dial in their set-ups for the entire weekend.
- We like Lando Norris to challenge Max Verstappen for pole position.
McLaren
There is no doubting the talent of Mclaren’s drivers, with the upgraded MCL-60, they have the car to compete. This combo has McLaren featured in our Belgian Grand Prix predictions.
Since debuting the long-awaited updates, McLaren has jumped into the mix at the front of the grid. Thanks to Norris scoring three consecutive top-five finishes, including back-to-back second-place finishes. Oscar Piastri has two top-five finishes since receiving the upgrades.
- We’re taking both McLaren drivers to leave Spa-Francorchamps with another incredible points haul.
