Sergio Pérez added to his claim as King of the Streets, winning the Azerbaijan Grand Prix and Sprint race. Pérez’s win in Baku made him the first two-time Grand Prix winner at Baku and gave Red Bull their fourth race win in six races in Azerbaijan. The two wins also close Perez’s gap in the F1 standings to a teammate and reigning two-time Drivers’ World Champion Max Verstappen.
With the RB-19 poised to run away with another Grand Prix win in the Florida sun, there is plenty of betting value to be found, which we’ll highlight for our Miami Grand Prix prediction.

Ready, Set, Go! F1 Miami Grand Prix Betting Preview
The 2023 Formula 1 season has a clear dominant car, with the two drivers poised for a season-long championship battle.
Red Bull has won all four races this season due to the RB-19’s spectacular aerodynamic design and efficiency. The only thing that can stop Red Bull in Miami is any reliability concerns.
Max Verstappen & Sergio Pérez
Our Miami Grand Prix prediction has the RB-19 as the winning car and either Verstappen or Perez to win the race, and taking easy wins with both drivers finishing in the top-six and scoring points, you should include these picks immediately.
Charles Leclerc
However, Charles Leclerc is the best qualifier in Formula 1 and is the real threat to take pole position from the Red Bulls. We also like Leclerc to finish in the points and top-six, while Carlos Sainz has three top-six finishes this season.
Fernando Alonso
Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso has four top-five finishes this season and might have made it four straight podiums with a few more laps in Baku. Alonso and teammate Lance Stroll to score points is almost a lock as both drivers have scored points in three of the four races.
One of our Miami Grand Prix predictions won’t be what the upgraded Mercedes W-14 looks like. The long-rumored upgrade package and shift in aerodynamic philosophy on the W-14 is expected to debut in Miami and could help Mercedes get closer to Aston Martin and Ferrari’s pace.
Despite the lack of pace in the W-14, Lewis Hamilton has four top-six finishes this season, while George Russell has three points finishes.
Who Will Win the F1 Miami Grand Prix?
- Miami Grand Prix Pole Winner: Charles Leclerc
- Miami Grand Prix Winner: Max Verstappen
