The 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series returns on June 23 after a two-week break for the Rackley Roofing 200. Only 36 points separate the top six drivers in the NASCAR Truck Series standings with four events remaining. Cory Heim is the current leader by one point over Ty Majeski, with Grant Enfinger taking over third after his win at Gateway.
It’s also crowded at the top of the Truck Series Championship odds, as only six drivers have earned victories through 12 races. Enfinger’s win in the last race ties him with Zane Smith and Christian Eckes for the most wins with two. This season’s only other wins have come from Corey Heim, Ben Rhodes, and Carson Hocevar.
The top drivers in the field for the upcoming event at Nashville can improve in the standings with a win after the race was dominated the last two years by Ryan Preece, who moved up to the Cup Series in 2023.
As the race tightens at the top of the standings, any of these top drivers could walk away with the Truck Series Championship in 2023 with just four races left on the NASCAR schedule before the playoffs.

Drivers to Watch at NASCAR Truck Series:
Zane Smith (+225)
Smith dominated through the first eight NASCAR races of the 2023 season, winning at Daytona and Circuit of the Americas and finishing second at Las Vegas in the first four races. He later had two straight third-place finishes before his troubles began at Darlington.
Smith hasn’t finished higher than 20th in the last four races, most recently crashing at Gateway while challenging Majeski for the lead.
However, Truck Series Championship odds still have him as the favorite in the regular season’s final weeks if he can recover and make a strong showing in the playoffs to take his second straight title in 2023.
Corey Heim (+375)
Heim didn’t make it to the podium until his victory at Martinsville and now has three top-two finishes in the last five races, where he’s finished no lower than eighth.
Team Tricon Garage has its No. 11 Toyota running fast this season, and this recent momentum has helped him become one of the top 2023 NASCAR Truck Series picks.
Ty Majeski (+400)
Majeski is still winless in 2023, although he’s started third or higher on the grid in eight of his 12 starts. He won the pole for the first time this season at Gateway but finished 30th when he made contact with Smith to knock him out of the lead.
With an average starting position of 4.333, it’s only a matter of time before he gets his first win, which could help propel him to this season’s Truck Series Championship.
Grant Enfinger (+550)
Enfinger moved into third in the Truck Series standings after his win at Gateway, his second victory in the previous five races. He’s one of the most consistent drivers this season, finishing every race while only placing lower than 14th twice.
He’s near the top of the Truck Series Championship odds going into next week’s event at Nashville as he goes for his second regular season championship since 2019.
Ben Rhodes (+600)
Rhodes is currently fifth in the Truck Series standings with one win and three top-fives in 2023. He’s only led for 60 laps, but he is one of the six drivers with a win this season.
Rhodes hasn’t been as dominant as he was in his championship season of 2021 but is a solid pick to win another Truck Series Championship after strong finishes in the previous two races.
Christian Eckes (+700)
Eckes has been solid this season in races he’s completed, finishing no lower than 25th just once. Since his DNF at Kansas Speedway, he won at Darlington and finished second at Gateway in the last four events.
Eckes is also first in the projected playoff standings in 2023 and is one of the top picks in the NASCAR Truck Series odds to win his first-ever Truck Series Championship.
