Warriors at Grizzlies Stats
Looking at the Golden State Warriors stats
The Golden State Warriors are doing a decent job on the offensive side of the ball this season as they are 11th in the NBA with 109.8 points per game. They just had shooting guard Klay Thompson return for the first time since the 2019 NBA Finals on Sunday, so that should only improve with time.
Point guard Steph Curry has controlled the offense as he is averaging 26.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, six assists, and 1.4 steals per game. His shooting numbers have been a little under his career numbers, though, as he is 42.2 percent from the field, 38.7 percent from beyond the arc, and 91.9 percent from the charity stripe.
The Warriors have been exceptionally great on the defensive side of the court as they are leading the league with 100.9 points allowed per game. They are not allowing many second-chance opportunities as they are also fifth in the NBA in rebounds at 46.2 per night. They should be able to hold opponents to a low score and take advantage of the situation.
Looking at the Memphis Grizzlies stats
The Grizzlies have been doing an excellent job of scoring the basketball this season as they are sitting in third with 112.1 points a night. They have a lot of young talent that are working together to get the best look possible, and it’s definitely paying off.
Shooting guard Desmond Bane has led Memphis this season as he is averaging 17.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.1 assists. He is shooting well as he is 47.3 percent from the floor, 42.8 percent from the three-point line, and 88.9 percent from the free-throw line.
Memphis is right in the middle as they are 15th in the league giving up 107.9 points per game this year so far. They have been making it tough on the opposing shooters as their 6.2 blocks per game is currently leading the entire NBA. If they can continue to be a force down low, they will keep winning games.
