Indiana Pacers Betting Analysis
Indiana went into Los Angeles on Wednesday and upset the struggling Lakers.
Caris LeVert led the scoring charge with 30 points on the night, while Domantas Sabonis posted a triple-double with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and ten assists. LeVert and Sabonis were both extremely efficient from the field, as LeVert shot 12-16 and Sabonis went 9-12.
Additionally, LeVert hit three three-pointers, and Sabonis added two as well.
Indiana shot 48.9 percent from the field as a team and 36.7 percent from beyond the arc. They turned the ball over just 12 times while posting 28 team assists.
The defense was also strong, holding a potent Laker offense to just 104 points in the game.
However, even with the win, Indiana is just 2-8 over the course of their past ten games, and they place third to last in the Eastern Conference standings. They announced earlier this season that they expect to be sellers at the trade deadline, so it may not be long before we start to see stars such as Sabonis and LeVert dealt away.
But for now, those players remain with the team and will look to lead the Pacers to a second straight win on Thursday against Golden State.
Golden State Warriors Betting Analysis
The Warriors defeated Detroit 102-86 on Tuesday.
It was a game they were supposed to win, and they took care of business. Klay Thompson had one of his best performances of his brief 2021-2022 campaign with 21 points, four assists, and two steals. Andrew Wiggins added 19 points, while Steph Curry scored 18 and dished out eight assists.
Winning has not come easy for the Warriors as of late, though. They have lost three of their last five contests and are just 5-5 in the month of January. Draymond Green’s injury has hurt the team as well, and he is expected to miss at least two more weeks.
But with all of that being said, they are still second place in the West and just a couple of games behind the Phoenix Suns, so the Warriors should be just fine moving forward.
They are heavy betting favorites at home against Indiana on Thursday night.
Team Updates
Warriors forward Draymond Green will miss at least the next two weeks with a back injury and a calf ailment. A recent MRI revealed that the reason for his sore calf was due to a disc issue in his lower back.
Pacers center Myles Turner will be out through the all-star break with a foot injury. Turner was one of Indiana’s top trade candidates, but it is possible that this injury forces the Pacers to hold onto him.
- Indiana is 22-22-1 ATS this year.
- Golden State is 25-17-2 ATS this season.
- The Warriors are 15-6-1 ATS at home.
- The Pacers are 9-12 ATS on the road.
- Golden State is 20-12-2 ATS as a favorite.
- Indiana is 14-8 ATS as an underdog.
Indiana Pacers at Golden State Warriors Betting Preview
The Warriors are the clear betting favorite in this game. But Indiana might have some added confidence following the road win against the Lakers on Wednesday.
However, Golden State’s 19-3 home record is the best in the NBA, while Indiana’s 4-17 road record is second to worst in the league.
Don’t over-think this one and roll with the Warriors.

How to Bet on Indiana Pacers at Golden State Warriors
Betting on the Warriors may be fairly expensive given their potentially high moneyline and large spread. But it is certainly worth it since an upset is extremely unlikely.
Expect Klay Thomspon to build off of his impressive performance from the last game and have another solid effort on Thursday against this underwhelming Pacers team. Taking the over on a prop over/under bet on Thompson’s point total might also be a good side bet for this game.
