Jazz vs. Suns Analysis
Utah Jazz Dominate NBA Summer League with High-Scoring Trio
The Utah Jazz are one of the top-scoring teams in all of the NBA Summer League. The Jazz are scoring 103 points per game. The first game of the Summer League saw second-year forward Ochai Agbaji play 30 minutes in the game. Agbaji shot 18 times and finished with 21 points. He was not the leader for the Jazz, as Keyonte George had a coming out part, scoring 33 points, and dishing out ten assists.
Johnny Juzang was solid in his first game, with 13 points in 21 minutes of play. In the second game against Minnesota, Juzang was dynamite as he anchored the team with 26 points. The rookie made 10 of 14 shots. George also added 26 in his second game as well.
In the third game for Utah, they saw five guys score double digits. Ochai Agbaji and Luka Samanic led the way with 14 points, while they saw Keyonte George just play 10 minutes in the win. The good news for the team – there is no one currently on the Utah Jazz injury report.
Phoenix Suns Struggle Offensively: Low Scoring Woes Plague the Team
In Phoenix Suns games this summer, they have been one of the lowest-scoring teams in the NBA Summer League. Phoenix is scoring just 71 points per game so far. In the opening game of the summer, Hunter Hale came off the bench and led the way with 21 points. Grant Sherfield also came off the bench and was second in scoring with 11 points.
In the second game of the summer for the Suns, when looking at NBA stats, Barry Brown Jr. was the leading scorer with 14 points. The Suns turned the ball over 16 times in that game, which was their second of back-to-back games.
Game three was similar, as the Suns saw four starters score double figures and another come off the bench. Toumani Camara led the way with 20 points, while Jordan Goodwin added 12. Grant Sherfield, Trey Jemison, and Barry Brown Jr. all added 10 in the game.
When making your NBA picks, keep in mind that in a little bit of an odd stat for the NBA Summer League, the Suns made just three three-point shots in the game. The Suns fired up 19 of them. Marcus Carr, out of Texas, played 17 minutes in the game and made his only shot from behind the line.
Jazz vs. Suns Betting Picks
The Jazz have been one of our favorite NBA betting trends this summer. The Utah Jazz seem to be playing on a different level from many of the teams in the NBA Summer League.
The Jazz have a very talented, young squad and seem to be playing at a full-effort level. The Phoenix Suns have great talent as well, but things have not quite come together for them.
With those thoughts in mind, let’s take a look at our Jazz vs Suns betting picks for the Friday affair:
- Pick 1: Utah Jazz -5
- Pick 2: OVER 181.1
Jazz vs. Suns Prediction
The Utah Jazz are ready to finish the NBA Summer League regular season and do it in style. The Jazz seem to have found a connection, and that’s going to continue as they look for one of the top seeds in the tournament to finish the Summer League.
Look for Utah to get after it, as they want to prove it right away. Look for the Utah Jazz to start hot and get out of the gate early and win the game.
- When doing your Jazz vs Suns betting – take the Utah Jazz -5, and score a bunch of points to go OVER the 181.5 on Friday.
