We have a good one in store for Saturday as the No. 14 Arkansas Razorbacks (24-6) and No. 13 Tennessee Volunteers (22-7) battle in a crucial early March affair.
Arkansas has played well as of late, and they are coming off of back-to-back impressive victories. They narrowly escaped with a 77-76 victory over LSU at home on Wednesday.
The Volunteers won a huge game against Auburn last week and followed that up with a convincing victory over Georgia on Tuesday of this week. Tennessee has begun to make their case as a legitimate contender in the rankings over their past few games.
These teams are both playing well and are hungry for a victory against one another. However, the Volunteers may have some added motivation after losing against the Razorbacks in Arkansas just a few weeks ago.
Tip-off is scheduled for 12:00 P.M. EST at the T-B Arena in Knoxville, TN.

Matchup Information
Looking at the Arkansas Razorbacks stats
The Razorbacks were unable to cover a fairly lofty home spread against LSU in their last matchup, but they were able to earn the one-point victory against the Tigers.
Stanley Umude led the charge for Arkansas in the contest with 23 points and five rebounds. Jaylin Williams posted a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds as well.
The win made it extremely close back-to-back victories for Arkansas as they were coming off of a 75-73 win over Kentucky.
Their offensive prowess has proven to be just enough over the past month or so. Over their past five wins, Arkansas has scored 75 points or more in four of those games. The only victory where they failed to reach that threshold was a defensive-first win against the Volunteers that saw them win by a final score of 58-48.
The Razorbacks will look to score a few more points against these same Volunteers on Saturday as they look to jump past them in the national rankings.
Looking at the Tennessee Volunteers stats
Tennessee has won four of their past five games and three in a row entering Saturday’s action. They will have revenge on their mind following their loss against Arkansas in their previous matchup with the Razorbacks.
The Volunteers are coming off of a solid victory on Tuesday against the Bulldogs. Josiah-Jordan James had a tremendous all-around performance with 23 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks. Kennedy Chandler contributed 16 points and four steals in the win as well.
The Volunteers’ offense has not been quite as explosive as Arkansas’ over their past five games, but their defense has held down the fort. This defensive unit has limited opponents to under 70 points in each of those five games, including the loss against the Razorbacks.
So if Tennessee’s offense is able to produce at least 70 points on Saturday, one has to imagine that they will have a decent chance of winning.
Arkansas at Tennessee Betting Trends

Arkansas at Tennessee Betting Prediction
This is a contest that has the potential to be absolutely electric. Both teams have similar records and are desperate for a victory with the season winding down and the tournament on the horizon.
Tennessee may be a slight home favorite, but Arkansas took down the Volunteers in the last matchup between these two teams. However, it was not the best offensive performance from the Razorbacks.
Tennessee’s defense will likely do enough once again to contain Arkansas’s offensive attack. The outcome of this game will likely be decided by the performance of the Volunteer offense. If they can go on a few runs and score 70 points, I believe this game will be theirs for the taking.
But if they fail to get things rolling on offense, then Arkansas will be able to control the pace of the contest, which could lead to the road upset for the Razorbacks.
This game could go either way, but I like the Volunteers to cover on their home floor. But this matchup will be worth the price of admission regardless of who comes out on top.
Go ahead and roll with the Volunteers.
