The Gaels of Saint Mary’s are coming off a 27-8 season a year ago. The Gaels went 14-2 in West Coast Conference play. Randy Bennett’s team went to the WCC Tournament title game, but fell to Gonzaga. In the NCAA Tournament, they beat VCU in the first round, and fell to UConn in the second round.
