The Roadrunners needed the game on Saturday against Texas State in a big way. The Roadrunners could not afford to start with back-to-back losses. Kevoiran Barnes was big for the Roadrunners, with 103 yards. Quarterback Frank Harris was able to come back and throw the winning touchdown.
Through two games, Harris has tossed just two touchdown passes, with one to Josua Cephus as well. Barnes, who was great in the win over Texas State, leads the team with 206 yards so far in 2023. UTSA is near the bottom of all of College Football, scoring just 17 points per game.
The Roadrunners want to make sure they are not looking ahead. But, it may be tough not to, as they head out on the road to Knoxville, Tennessee. There, they will take on the unbeaten Tennessee Volunteers. UTSA Roadrunners games are fun, but the trip to Knoxville could get out of hand.

Army used three touchdown passes from Bryson Daily to get by Delaware State. One of those touchdown passes went to Isaiah Alston, who caught this 70-yarder, and also rushed for two more in the blowout win.
Daily now has 314 passing yards and three touchdowns, while he also leads the team with 128 rushing yards on 32 carries. Alston has been the top receiver, averaging over 90 yards per game. The Black Knights have been great with the run game, as they are averaging just shy of 230 per game. Army has also been playing great defense, allowing 8.5 points per game.
The Black Knights are playing the first of back-to-back games. Following this game, they will head to Syracuse to take on the Orange. After that, they will come back home and host Boston College and Troy.
