Chicago Bears vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Picks & Parlays
Here is a look at a couple of our NFL Picks against the spread picks.
If Baker Mayfield is going to be good under center, this will be a pretty good team. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are two guys that are hard to contain. The Bears’ defense looked poor last week, and Tampa will be ready to take advantage of that. Chicago will not be able to keep up offensively.
Looking at the NFL team stats, the Chicago defense was pathetic a week ago. Justin Fields will sneak free a couple of times on the Buccaneers. Look for this game to go over. Our final score prediction is 27-20 Buccaneers over the Bears.

Chicago Bears vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Analysis
The Chicago Bears had high hopes coming into the 2023 season. They had it all there for them. Their biggest rivals – at home. Their biggest rivals, finally without Aaron Rodgers. Then, the game started, and they now find themselves 0-1 on the season. The worst news for the Bears is that they are heading to Kansas City for Week 3, so a loss here at Tampa Bay could force Chicago into a 0-3 hole.
The Bears saw Packers starting quarterback Jordan Love toss three touchdown passes and finish with 245 yards. The defense was not very good, as they let Aaron Jones go all over the place, with 120+ total yards and two touchdowns.
On the offensive side, Justin Fields was 24 of 37 for 216 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Darnell Mooney was the receiver to catch a touchdown for Chicago. The Chicago Bears game today should feature Mooney getting plenty of looks in the passing game.
Many picked against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, just the opposite of the Bears. The Buccaneers had lost their legendary quarterback, Tom Brady, and now a guy who had not been a starter in a while was the new quarterback.
But Baker Mayfield came in and was terrific. Looking at his NFL player stats, Mayfield tossed for 173 yards and two touchdowns. Mike Evans was his top target with six receptions, 66 yards, and a score. His NFL MVP odds are still slim.
Tampa Bay was good on the defensive end, as they forced the Minnesota Vikings into three turnovers. Kirk Cousins threw an interception and lost two fumbles. Next on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers schedule is the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.
Chicago Bears vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Picks
As mentioned, this game will go the way of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Baker Mayfield will be a legitimate quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
If Mayfield can get his weapons out in space, the Bears will have difficulty keeping up. The Justin Fields story is nice, but he struggled in Game One, which will continue into Week Two of the season.
Barring any late addition to the NFL injury report, our final Bears vs Buccaneers picks & parlays: Take the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the OVER in this one.
