The 17th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes will travel to Memorial Stadium on Friday afternoon to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a Big West showdown.
The Hawkeyes are 9-2 (6-2) this season and are currently on a three-game winning streak after defeating the Illinois Fighting Illini 33-23. Sophomore quarterback Alex Padilla went just 6-of-17 for 83 yards with an interception.
The Cornhuskers are 3-8 (1-7) so far and are riding a five-game losing streak after losing on the road to the 15th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers 35-28. Junior quarterback Adrian Martinez is already ruled out for this upcoming game with a shoulder injury.
