Texas Longhorns vs. TCU Horned Frogs Betting Preview
Steve Sarkisian and his Texas Longhorns have won three straight games, and will need three more to wrap up a chance to play in the Big 12 title game. The lone loss was a 34-30 decision against Oklahoma. They may not get the Sooners in the title game, as they have dropped back-to-back games.
Quinn Ewers has been the leader offensively under center, but missed last week with an NCAAF injury. He is questionable this week. Jonathan Brooks has taken the load off offensively without Ewers. The running back has carried the ball 166 times for over 1,000 yards and 8 touchdowns. Texas has also been winning with defense, allowing just 18.5 points per game in their last four wins.
The Texas Longhorns schedule has them finish the season on the road at Iowa State, and then come home to take on Texas Tech on November 24th.
TCU Struggles to Find Defensive Footing
For TCU, they seems to be a long way away from the national title game appearance of a season ago. The TCU Horned Frogs are in danger of missing a bowl game as they sit 4-5 on the season. TCU needs to find the defense, as they are allowing nearly 25 points per game on the season.
Offensively, the Horned Frogs are doing solid in the passing game. The Horned Frogs are throwing for nearly 297 yards per game. Quarterback’s Chandler Morris and Josh Hoover have combined for 19 touchdowns, but also 12 interceptions on the season. The run game has been anchored by Emani Bailey, who needs just 92 yards to reach 1000 on the season.
TCU will host Baylor next week, and then go on the road to Oklahoma on November 24th to finish their season.
Texas Longhorns vs. TCU Horned Frogs Betting Prediction
It is time for our Texas vs TCU betting analysis: Texas is going to take their frustration out on the Horned Frogs going to the national title game before them. The Longhorns know they have a legit chance this season, especially if they can win out, and take down the Big 12 title game.
Look for this to be all Texas, all the time. The TCU Horned Frogs score, but nowhere near enough.
- NCAAF Pick: Bet the Longhorns -10.
