Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Preview
It’s always fun seeing the Cleveland Browns, and their long history of losing, succeed. The Browns and their fans were elated to beat Cincinnati in the season opener. The anticipation for this Week Two affair is off the charts in Cleveland.
The Browns won their Week One game with defense. They held Joe Burrow under 100 passing yards in the game and just a field goal. Incredible start for the Cleveland defense.
On the offensive side, the Browns got what they wanted. DeShaun Watson was solid. He moved the football, he took care of the ball, and he got it to his weapons. Watson finished with 154 passing yards and a touchdown but also ran for a touchdown as well.
He was part of the Cleveland rushing attack that saw their NFL Team Stats pick up 206 yards in Week One, the second most in the league. Nick Chubb did the heavy lifting, as he wrapped up a game with 106 yards but did not reach the end zone. The NFL schedule shows that the Browns host the Titans in Week 3.
While Cleveland is celebrating their Week One win, the Pittsburgh Steelers are figuring out what went wrong. The answer to that is mostly everything. The Steelers were beat up from start to finish by the 49ers in the game. The lone touchdown for the Steelers came just before halftime, which made it a manageable game at that point. But, Pittsburgh not being able to tackle Christian McCaffrey to start the second half led to a 23-point loss.
Najee Harris got just six carries in the loss, and many wonder about the future of the Pittsburgh run game. A positive was the emergence of Allen Robinson. The veteran receiver saw his NFL Player Stats for 64 yards in the game. Pittsburgh will need to get right soon, as they are going to face a heavy dose of running from Cleveland in this affair. Pittsburgh Steelers lines are going to be difficult to predict until they find some consistency.
Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Prediction
Anytime these two teams get together, you throw out the records, and you throw out old scores. These two teams do not like each other. In fact, the entire division does not like each other. Look for a battle.
Are the Cleveland Browns legitimate in the division? Are the Steelers really that poor? With the Ravens and Bengals playing each other, there is a chance all four teams could be 1-1 after this week. That is what we are going with. The Steelers, who are well-coached, come back and grab a home win in Week 2.
Our final Browns vs. Steelers betting analysis for Week 2 of the National Football League is the Pittsburgh Steelers +105 on the moneyline over the Cleveland Browns.
