The NFL schedule is onto Week 4. The Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears are set to get together in Week 4 of the National Football League schedule. This is a battle of winless teams in the National Football League. This game features the two teams that have looked the worst to start the 2023 season.
The Denver Broncos are 0-3, coming off a road trip to Miami, where they allowed the Dolphins to score 70 points. Denver is the lone team in the AFC without a win.
For Chicago, they have been outscored in their first three games by 59 points. Last week was a mess on and off the field for the Bears, and they look to avoid a 0-4 start in 2023.
Looking at the NFL standings, this should be one of the better NFL matchups this week.

Denver Broncos vs. Chicago Bears Betting Preview
When fans looked at the Denver Broncos score today – for Week 3 – they had to have taken several looks at that mess. Things have not gone as planned for Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos. In his first season since taking over as head coach for Nathaniel Hackett, the Broncos have scored 69 points but allowed 122.
The Broncos are dead last in almost all defensive statistics. That’s expected when you allow 105 points in the combined games against the Commanders and Dolphins. The NFL Team Stats for the Denver Broncos defense are ugly.
Offensively, the Broncos have not been awful. Russell Wilson has done his job behind center with six touchdown passes through the first three games. Wilson has 791 yards, with 195 of them going to rookie Marvin Mims Jr.
Mims Jr. sees his NFL Player Stats with one touchdown reception. The run game has been pretty poor for Denver. The Broncos rank 21st with just 95 yards per game on the ground.
The Denver Broncos’ schedule will see them head home to take on the Jets next week before a short turnaround for a Thursday Night Football game against the Chiefs. The Broncos and Chiefs play twice in 17 days.
Chaos in Chicago
Well, Justin Fields blamed coaching, the defensive coordinator resigned, and people stole stuff from the Bears headquarters all last week. And if that was not enough, the team had to get ready for a road trip to Kansas City. Chicago was unprepared and got smacked 41-10. The Bears have now lost their first three games by an average of 19.6 points per game. The Chicago Bears stats to start the season are ugly.
The fact of the matter so far is Justin Fields has not been good. In fact, he’s been pretty poor. The Bears are one of the worst passing teams in the league, and Fields has just 526 yards through three games.
Fields is a guy who was getting looks at the NFL MVP Odds before the season started. He also had thrown four interceptions and just three touchdowns.
The quarterback is leading the run attack due to the ineffectiveness of Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson. Those two have carried the ball 40 times for 183 yards and just one touchdown.
The Bears are getting ready for two games in five days. After this game, the Bears have a short turnaround as they go on the road to Washington for Thursday Night Football to start Week 4. The Bears then have back-to-back home games against Minnesota and the Raiders.
Denver Broncos vs. Chicago Bears Betting Picks
This is going to be an ugly game. Does either team deserve to win? We will find out. In the end, we are going to go with the home team. Look for the Bears’ defense to pick it up a little bit and give Fields the ball a few extra times.
Barring any late additions to the NFL injury report, the Bears win this game late.
- When looking at the Broncos vs Bears odds: take Chicago 26-21 over the Broncos.
