The ATP Miami stats have been fun to track as the tournament has gone by. Tennis picks have been made while some have been right and others have just been incorrect.
The tennis schedule has some fantastic matchups on the horizon that it will be hard to take your eyes off of. The number one player in the world is still here and is trying to show that he can still be that guy.
Of course, the ATP Miami odds will change round over round. The underdogs are gaining better traction as the development moves forward.
But any ATP Miami prediction is going to have to be made under the assumption that the stars will be able to hold their own. The level of play is way above what we have seen in other tournaments.
Let’s continue by previewing the quarterfinals and what’s to come.
Go Big on Alcaraz
The best game in the schedule is going to feature number one and number nine in the tennis standings. Carlos Alcaraz is going to battle with Taylor Fritz in a head-to-head that will be hard to miss.
Slated for a 7:00 PM start, the lights will be shining in the evening, and nobody will be able to tear their eyes away from the court. Alcaraz has been on a tear, and any ATP Miami prediction is going to need to have him getting it done.
Fritz has improved year to year and has been a good representation for American tennis. He hits hard and makes sure to keep everybody on their toes when watching him.
Carlos Alcaraz vs. Taylor Fritz
Fritz hasn’t been able to get over the hump in any Grand Slams but has found that on the ATP Tour, he is able to keep up with any and all players out there. Few can beat him, and though it is going to take a lot to take him out, Alcaraz has all the tools in his bag.
Alcaraz is the favorite at -350, while Fritz is a solid underdog at +260. There is a good chance to score big here, though betting live after the first set takes place might be the best way to go. The tennis odds are going to shift as this one goes forward, and the matchup will be hard to avoid.
Of course, Alcaraz is the safer pick. Drop it all on him. He is number one in the world for a reason, and few players have been better than he’s been recently.
The Other Names
Jannik Sinner
Jannik Sinner has already scored his quarterfinal victory and is the first to punch his ticket into the semis. Making an ATP Miami prediction that has Sinner winning looks like a safe bet. He is going to have a serious opportunity to go all the way, and he has the skill to stand tall against any player. He was a -850 favorite and was able to hold his own.
Francisco Cerundolo vs. Karen Khachkanov
No. 25 Francisco Cerundolo is playing No.14 Karen Khachkanov. Khachkanov has been a steadily improving player in recent seasons and is one of those you just can’t take your eyes off of.
The native of Russia has been tough to slow down and is a name that has a legitimate chance of scoring a title. He is a -300 favorite, while Cerundolo is the +260 underdog.
Daniil Medvedev vs. Christopher Eubanks
The final tennis matchup of the quarterfinals features the player who should have the second-best odds of coming away with success. No.4 Daniil Medvedev is a -1800 favorite as he is slated to face a qualifier.
Christopher Eubanks is representing the USA and the fact that as somebody that just simply got into the draw could have been enough; he has made his way all the way to the QFs. Medvedev is the safe pick, but in the situation of needing a guarantee, go with Medvedev.
When push comes to shove in Miami, it will most likely be Alcaraz that comes out smelling like a rose. This is a tournament that has been showing that the stars can deliver when they have to.
With all of the talent out there, somebody will have to work their tail off to get it done.
