With back-to-back E-Prix wins – including the legendary Motegasque Streets, Envision Racing’s Nick Cassidy has vaulted into the lead of the Driver’s Championship. Claiming his fifth top-three finish this season. With seven races left in the Formula E season, it appears like a four-driver competition for the Drivers’ Championship.
However, doubleheaders provide drivers the opportunity for a major points haul, like Pascal Wherline and Jake Dennis did at Diryah earlier this season. We’ll review all the important information and trends to prep your betting ticket for this weekend’s doubleheader in our Jakarta E-Prix 2023 betting preview.
2023 Formula E Jakarta E-Prix Betting Odds and Trends
Unfortunately, there were no Formula E odds for either of this weekend’s E-Prix. However, when you bet on motorsport, qualifying is always important to factor into your betting picks and can give you an edge at who will win or cash in on any prop bet lines, if available.
There are two Jakarta E-Prix 2023 betting opportunities this weekend, with this weekend being the third doubleheader of the season. Without any odds to factor into our picks, we’ve got a few Formula E betting trends to highlight.
Formula E: Pole Position Doesn’t Mean a Win
First, no driver who has scored pole position has won the E-Prix he claimed pole for, speaking to the unpredictable nature of Formula E racing compared to other motorsports – like Formula 1 – where pole position often turns into race wins.
Second, there have been two doubleheader races this season with different results. TAG Heuer Porsche’s Pascal Wehrlein won both races in the doubleheader at Diriyah. While Jaguar TCS Racing’s Mitch Evans and Envision Racing’s Nick Cassidy split the wins at the second doubleheader in Berlin.
Third, three drivers have won back-to-back races in the 2023 Formula E season: Pascal Wherline (Diriyah E-Prix x2), Mitch Evans (São Paulo E-Prix, Berlin E-Prix 1), and Nick Cassidy (Berlin E-Prix 2, Monaco E-Prix).

Jake Dennis
