NASCAR kicks off its 75th season of the sport on Sunday with the “Great American Race” at Daytona International Speedway. It’s a year of celebration and transition on the 75th anniversary of the races.
The 65th edition of the annual Daytona 500 race is sold out due to the excitement of seeing the cars return to the track. In addition, this will be a celebration of all the seasons that have led to the sport reaching the popularity it enjoys today.
Veteran drivers are making room for potential new stars to take over. For example, Kevin Harvick, one of the oldest remaining in these races, is in his last season as a NASCAR driver. He recently announced his retirement almost a decade after winning his only Cup and before moving into the announcers’ booth.
Daytona 500 Odds
This weekend, NASCAR Cup Series fans will be able to return from a long break between the 2022 and 2023 seasons to experience the adrenaline rush of the races. Daytona International Speedway will host the 65th annual Daytona 500, the first race of the 36-race series scheduled to take place in the new season.
At this point in the Daytona 500 prediction, there is no clear favorite to win the 200-lap event on the 5-mile oval in Daytona Beach, Florida. However, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney and Chase Elliott are leading the board. For the Cup Series odds, they face stiff competition against seasoned and novice drivers, and all sportsbooks say the same thing. This is going to be a race to remember.

Daytona 500 Analysis
The public should be on the lookout for emerging drivers as a new generation is arriving. Beyond the well-known like Harvick, Johnson, Joey Logano and Austin Cindric, there are a number of others vying for a title.
Another promising driver is Daniel Suárez, who’s coming off the best season of his career. The only Hispanic driver in the upcoming race won his first NASCAR Cup Series trophy in Sonoma last summer.
Suárez finished 10th in the final NASCAR Cup Series championship standings, giving him his first playoff appearance and best performance. He led a career-best 280 laps last year and will continue to build on his successes this year to rise in the NASCAR standings.
Daytona 500 Recap and Analysis
Austin Cindric and Team Penske are defending their Daytona 500 win from last year on the new NASCAR schedule. It was his first NASCAR Cup Series win, making him one of only nine drivers in NASCAR history to win their first-ever race at Daytona.
In addition to being one of the most important references of rock and roll, Axel Rose and his band have a passion for racing. They’re taking it to the next level with the first Guns N’ Roses car appearing in the Daytona 500.
The car will be a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, number 43, driven by Erik Jones. It’s part of the Legacy MotorClub team, chaired by Richard Petty and Jimmie Johnson. When making a Daytona 500 prediction, Jones is a name that has to be on the list.

Daytona 500 Betting Picks
For the NASCAR odds, the oddsmakers put Ryan Blaney and Denny Hamlin out in front to win the race. However, no driver has a clear path to victory. Kyle Busch and Bubba Wallace always have to be considered, especially after their past performances.
Jones and his Guns N’ Roses car deserve consideration as well. He may not have the experience of others, but he’s a solid commitment behind the wheel with a lot of value.
Daytona 500 Score Predictions
For the Daytona 500 prediction, the real value goes to Hamlin to win this race, adding another title to his list. He’s driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, which has taken three Daytona 500 events so far. The last was in 2020, and it’s time for another victory. For the Cup Series predictions, Team Gibbs is always a good choice.
Daytona 500 Pick: Denny Hamlin
