The NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to Darlington Raceway this weekend for the Mahindra Roxor 200 during throwback weekend. The NASCAR 2022 schedule has all three NASCAR Series featured this weekend, with the Dead On Tools 200 in the Camping World Truck Series on Friday and the Goodyear 400 on Sunday in the NASCAR Cup Series.
A couple of Cup Series drivers will be entered for both races this weekend. Tyler Reddick, in the Big Machine Racing number 48, and Chase Elliot, who will be in the number 88 car for JR Motorsports.
John Hunter Nemechek was retired early in last week’s A-Game 200 and will be switching to the number 26 car for Sam Hunt Racing on Sunday. So, two entries will not qualify for Saturday’s race unless there are withdrawals to make up the 40-car field.
Last weekend JR Motorsports dominated the NASCAR Xfinity Series A-Game 200. Josh Berry took the win and never looked back after moving into the lead with 53 laps to go. JRM has four of the top five finishers, with Justin Allgaier finishing second and Ty Gibbs, Noah Gragson and Sam Mayer rounding out the top five places. This feat hasn’t been accomplished since 2013, when Joe Gibbs Racing did the same at Darlington.
Berry also added himself to the 2022 playoffs with his first win of the season. He joins Ty Gibbs, Brandon Jones, Austin Hill and AJ Allmendinger as the drivers eligible based on their wins this season.
Gragson took home the Xfinity Series win at this event last year and is looking for his third victory in 2022.

Mahindra Roxor 200 Betting Picks
Pick 1: Noah Gragson
When looking at NASCAR betting odds, it’s important to know Gragson won at Darlington in last year’s race and is always one of the favorites when he comes to The Lady in Black. This season, he has wins at the United Rentals 200 at Phoenix and the AG-Pro 300 run at Talladega Speedway two weeks ago.
Gragson finished fourth at last week’s A-Game 200 as his team, JR Motorsports, took four of the top five places. Gragson did not lead for any laps in last weekend’s race and was the only racer in the top five not to do so. He hopes to change that this week and repeat last year’s success.
Pick 2: Tyler Reddick
When making NASCAR betting picks, note that Reddick will be making his first start of the season in the Xfinity Series, driving the number 48 Chevrolet Camaro for Big Machine Racing. Reddick is a two-time Xfinity Series champion and will headline the team at Darlington.
This is Reddick’s fifth start in the series at the track, as he hopes to do better than his best finish of second place back in 2019. He competed in seven races in the series in 2021 and will be taking his team’s number one position on Saturday. Reddick steps in for Kaz Grala, who replaced Jade Buford for two races this season.
Pick 3: Ty Gibbs
When NASCAR betting, note Gibbs is currently ranked second in the Xfinity Series rankings in 2022 and is looking for his fourth victory of the season. The nineteen-year-old picked up his first win at the Alsco Uniforms 300 in Las Vegas and got wins at the Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Nalley Cars 250 and the ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond Raceway.
In his second Xfinity Series season, Gibbs has seven wins in 28 career starts and hasn’t won in the last three races, which makes him overdue to get a win at Darlington on Saturday.
Mahindra Roxor 200 Betting Trends
- Justin Allgaier has top-ten finishes in 15 straight events and eleven finishes in the top five.
- Chevrolet leads manufacturers in wins with 16.
- Joe Gibbs Racing leads the series with 6 team wins.
- Daniel Hemric has finished in the top-five three times and the top ten on five occasions.
- Ty Gibbs has the most Xfinity Series wins this season with three.
Mahindra Roxor 200 Betting Predictions
Tyler Gibbs is an excellent choice to win this event and has gone three weeks without winning. He has a chance to take over the series lead from AJ Allmendinger with a victory. However, Reddick is always a threat anytime he gets behind the wheel in this series and hopes to give Big Machine Racing a victory.
The other driver to watch is Nemechek, who failed to finish two starts ago at Richmond. He has two top-five finishes in the last four starts coming into this weekend. However, Gibbs is gunning for the win and is ready to tackle the track.
