There will be rotational guys from the regular season not on the court, ones who likely deserve it. Between Joe Ingles, Pat Connaughton, Jevon Carter, Jae Crowder, Bobby Portis, AJ Green, and now Dragic, they can realistically only use 3-4, and at most five, in a game.
It’s truly impressive the collection of talent they have managed to put together around an impressive starting five. Mike Budenholzer’s biggest task yet is not going to be bringing ring No.2 in three years. It will be trying to keep everyone happy and pulling all the right strings. This could be a bit of a tough one for the Nets unless the 2nd-unit guys step their games up. They are without Cam Johnson, Royce O’Neale, Spencer Dinwiddie, and also Nic Claxton. With all of them not playing, it is going to have to be the next man up. They have enough depth and players that this might not fully derail them. But let’s see what happens and let the game speak for itself.
The Bucks’ list is pretty long, though they should expect their stars back. Jrue Holiday, Giannis, and Crowder are all questionable, while Dragic will rehab his knee in the meantime. Whether or not anybody suits up should not be too big an issue. Next man up for them, and Khris Middleton does return for this one and can give another 20-25 minutes as they play things safe.
