The 2023-24 NBA regular season is starting to wind down in a hurry, and most NBA teams in the league are already looking ahead to the postseason. There will once again be 20 teams that have a shot to compete in the NBA playoffs, but not all of those teams can win a title based on their potential scores and odds.
Now is a great time to make some NBA picks on which team will win the title as there will be some value in the odds. These odds can still change between now and when the postseason begins, but there won’t be a ton of movement in the NBA odds.
Here is a look at the current odds to win the NBA Championship, and some of the teams with a realistic chance.

Two Clear Favorites
When looking at the odds to win the NBA championship, two teams are going to stick out right away. Two NBA teams appear to have separated from the pack, but those teams will now have to prove it in the postseason.
The Boston Celtics currently have the top NBA Championship odds as they are sitting at +200 with less than 10 games to go in the regular season. This team has been on top of the NBA rankings nearly all season long, and they are showing no signs of slowing down.
The Denver Nuggets had the best odds to win NBA Championship when the season began as they are the defending champions as well. There were some rough patches throughout the year for the Nuggets, but they are now sitting at +310 to get it done again this season.
There are still going to be some other teams to keep an eye on when the playoffs begin, but there is a reason that the Celtics and Nuggets have the best odds.
Contenders are Lurking
When looking to make some NBA predictions, you are always going to want to see which teams could be coming on strong. Since two teams have great odds to win the NBA Championship, all of the other teams would have to be considered contenders.
The Milwaukee Bucks and LA Clippers are two teams that are loaded with great NBA players, and that will give them a shot in the postseason. Milwaukee has had some recent playoff success, while the Clippers are trying to get to that point.
Both of these teams have seen their NBA odds to win a title decrease in recent weeks as they just haven’t been able to keep pace with the Celtics and Nuggets. The betting odds tend to fall off after these four teams, but that will change as the rest of the NBA schedule is played out.

There can always be some surprises in the NBA Playoffs each year, but it just doesn’t feel like that is going to happen this time around. Injuries have hurt some of the teams in this league, and the Celtics and Nuggets have taken advantage of staying healthy.
There is more value in betting on the Denver Nuggets to win a championship this season, but it’s never easy to go back-to-back. Boston has building this team for a while, and it feels like this might be their time to shine.
