It’s almost time for March Madness bets, and for bettors looking to build a winning parlay bet tonight, some options stand out.
San Diego State Takes On Colorado State
In a Mountain West Conference game today, the San Diego State University (SDSU) Aztec Warriors will play the Colorado State Rams at Viejas Arena at home. SDSU leads the series 49-42 and took four of the last five meetings.
After defeating the Fresno State Bulldogs in a road game, the Rams improved to 12-15. Although it seemed like they were going to be in trouble for a while, Colorado State held on to win by three points.
The Rams aren’t having a great season, but the game showed some of the skills they possess. They’ve now taken two straight road games, but will run into problems tonight. SDSU is 21-5, including a recent win against the Fresno State Bulldogs.
The Warriors are on a streak, winning four straight games and looking for another Mountain title. They’re 12-2 in the conference and will bring a solid defense tonight. In the college basketball odds, they’re the favorites to win, and taking them on the first leg of a parlay will get the ball rolling.
Nevada Looks For Another Win
A college basketball showdown will be held at the Lawlor Events Center between the San Jose State Spartans and the Nevada Wolf Pack. When these two teams faced off on January 7, Nevada defeated San Jose State 67-40. Nevada is ready for another, and its college basketball players are among some of the most talented this season.
The Spartans lost their last game against the New Mexico Lobos by giving up 96 points, which resulted in a big loss. On the other side, Nevada has a 20-7 record but lost their last game against Fresno State.
San Jose averages 68.4 points per game (ppg) and gives up around 67.3. Nevada picks up an average of 73.4 ppg and only gives up 66.8.
Nevada is currently 12-3-1 ATS when playing at home. Going into tonight’s game with a superior defense, backing them on the spread of around 10 in the NCAAB odds will create a strong second leg to a parlay bet.
Flying High In Colorado
It will be another Mountain West matchup tonight as Fresno State, 9-17 (5-10 in the conference), faces the Air Force Falcons at Clune Arena in Colorado Springs, CO. The Bulldogs dropped in the rankings following a recent loss to Colorado State Rams in an off game. The Bulldogs average 61.2 ppg and 30.6 rebounds per game (rpg), shooting just 42% from the field.
Currently, the Falcons are 14-14 (also 5-10 in the conference) this season after losing 75-69 to the Wyoming Cowboys in their last game. They’re picking up an average of 67.5 ppg and 29.2 rpg to find moderate success.
Fresno State has given up three straight games, with the Falcons recording two wins in their last three. The Bulldogs are having a lot of trouble on offense, which is where they will continue to struggle tonight.
At the same time, Air Force’s offense, with no major absences on the college basketball injury report, isn’t overwhelmingly spectacular, either. While the Falcons will win, the game won’t see a lot of action. Therefore, backing the under on an over/under of around 124.5 makes sense.
Razorbacks Welcome The Bulldogs
In the lineup of NCAA basketball games today, the Arkansas Razorbacks will host the Georgia Bulldogs in a Southeastern Conference matchup tonight. They’re coming into the game right behind another contest from February 2 that saw Arkansas in complete control.
Georgia’s having a bad run this season, now sitting on a 6-8 conference record in the college basketball standings. On the other hand, Arkansas has been a little better, dead even at 7-7. However, the Razorbacks outperform overall, currently enjoying an 18-9 record.
In the Bulldogs’ last game, they took on the Alabama Crimson Tide and gave up 108 points. The Razorbacks just easily took down the Florida Gators after putting up 84 points with a solid offensive performance.
There’s not much money on the moneyline for the game, as Arkansas shouldn’t have any trouble managing the Bulldogs. The spread, however, is around 13 in favor of the Razorbacks. When making college basketball picks, despite the troubles Georgia has had on offense, backing them to cover the spread tonight would be a good way to round out a parlay bet.
