Today, we are going to dive into three different games where you can bet on the underdog and be cashing out with a profit.
All odds are courtesy of main sportsbooks, so depending on where you look and when you do, there can be a bit of a discrepancy on the odds.
Florida State Seminoles (+600) vs North Carolina Tar Heels
The Florida State Seminoles are going to be the biggest underdog in this article as they have a chance to win a conference game on the road against the North Carolina Tar Heels. Florida State has been running the football effectively as they are averaging over 200 rushing yards per game.
The Tar Heels love to throw the football, and sophomore wide receiver Josh Downs has been doing incredibly well, so if they can limit the number of touches that he gets, it will really give the Seminoles a chance to win here. These defenses are close to one another as less than a touchdown separates these two programs.
Connecticut Huskies vs Massachusetts Minutemen (+150)
Neither team has picked up a victory this season, so this is the chance for the UMass Minutemen to win with +150 odds here. Freshman quarterback Brady Olson has been doing well so far this season, while sophomore quarterback Steven Krajewski has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns.
These defenses have been nothing short of terrible this season as the Huskies are giving up 39.7 points per game while the Minutemen are allowing 47.2 points per game. This is the best chance for UMass to pick up a victory this season, and this is going to get their game to lose.
Oklahoma Sooners vs Texas Longhorns (+145)
Two ranked programs are facing off, and they are built very similar this season as Oklahoma is currently 5-0 (2-0) while Texas is sitting at 4-1 (2-0). They score touchdowns at an alarming rate while the defenses have been holding the opposing offenses to field goals instead of touchdowns. Spencer Rattler has thrown an interception in each of the last two games this season, so that could end up being the difference between these teams.
Texas has more of the balanced offensive attack as sophomore running back Bijan Robinson has nine total touchdowns (seven rushing, two receiving). This game is being played in the Cotton Bowl is going to be the difference in the Red River Showdown, so go with the Texas Longhorns to win here at home and defeat the undefeated Oklahoma Sooners.
