Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals Betting Preview
Lamar Jackson Gets the Job Done Despite Modest Stats
When watching the Baltimore Ravens game, they looked solid in Week 1, and the best news was the play of their rookie receiver, Zay Flowers.
Drafted 23rd overall in the draft out of Boston College, Flowers led the team with nine receptions and 78 yards. While he did not get into the end zone, the rookie was a common target for Lamar Jackson.
Looking at the NFL player stats, Jackson certainly was not fantastic for the Ravens, but he got the job done. The signal caller threw the ball 22 times and completed 17 for 169 yards. He did not throw a touchdown pass. The offense into the end zone came via the ground. J.K. Dobbins scored the first one, while Justice Hill got the next two.
Dobbins got hurt later in the game and is out for the entire season with a torn Achilles. Gus Edwards also got involved with the rushing attack for Baltimore, which finished with over 100 yards in the game.

Bengals’ Week 1 Regret: A Tough Start to the Season
The Bengals would certainly look to have Week 1 back. Looking at the NFL team stats, Joe Burrow was befuddled all game, completing just 14 of 31 passes for 82 yards. The Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase caught five passes for 39 yards in the loss. Burrow and Chase have great NFL MVP Odds to start the 2023 season.
Joe Mixon was also ineffective, rushing 13 times for 56 yards, while a mixture of five other guys got carries in the game and combined for 19 yards on seven carries. Cincinnati did not turn the ball over in the game; they could not move the football.
The Cincinnati Bengals defense rank was not bad in the game, but they played a pretty average offense in the Cleveland Browns. The defense certainly was not the issue in the loss.
The Bengals will take on the Ravens here and welcome the Rams to town next weekend. Following that, Cincinnati has back-to-back road trips at the Titans and the Arizona Cardinals.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals Betting Picks
This is a big Week 2 game. These two teams are projected to be at the top of the AFC North divisional standings at the end of the season. The Bengals do not want to fall two games back of their biggest competition after just two games.
But if Cincinnati cannot get things going on the offensive side, that’s what will happen. Baltimore just seems to be in a better spot right now, and barring any late additions to the NFL injury report, they are going to win this game.
The Ravens are underdogs, and they come away with a huge road win here. When looking at our final pick for Ravens vs Bengals odds – take Baltimore +3 over Cincinnati in this Week 2 affair.
