We enter into round 22 of the NRL regular season with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles needing a win on Sunday but also some help in their quest to reach the finals. At 9-11, the Sea Eagles are two wins back from the 11-9 Roosters with three matches to play. Check the Titans vs Sea Eagles Odds below.
While Manly-Warringah’s finals hopes are a longshot, at least they are in the hunt. That’s something Gold Coast cannot say heading into round 22 rugby betting picks, as at 3-17, the Titans are the bottom feeders of the table.

Titans vs. Sea Eagles Odds Breakdown
It’s somewhat shocking that the Sea Eagles are just -6.5 favorites for Sunday’s match, considering just how absolutely atrocious Gold Coast has been all season. At this point, the Titans just want the year to be over as they have lost 10 in a row.
The Titans have played some good clubs lately, losing 32-14 to Melbourne last weekend and having close battles with the Raiders (36-24) and Broncos (16-12) over the past month – both teams playing for a finals berth. A 36-26 loss to the 12th place Bulldogs on July 23rd is what really has a person worried about taking the Titans for round 22 rugby betting.
Manly-Warringah has done no favors in their quest to make the finals with losses in three straight matches. They have fallen 20-6 to the Dragons, 20-10 to the Roosters, and 36-20 to the Eels, with all three of those clubs possibly making the finals.
The Sea Eagles have been in some low-scoring matches lately, which makes you think the O/U of 48.5 is way too high for Gold Coast Titans vs. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Score Predictions. Manly is -215 on the moneyline, but on the rare occasion that the Titans could pick up a win, it would pay out as +170 underdogs.
Manly has found their offense in a three-game head-to-head win streak against the Titans. The Sea Eagles picked up a 26-18 win back in April but had convincing 56-24 and 36-0 victories in the 2021 series sweep. Overall though, these teams have split their last eight meetings.
Titans vs. Sea Eagles Betting Preview
Gold Coast Preview Manly Preview
You have to dig deep to find anything positive about the Titans’ 2022 campaign. Their last win came way back on May 14th, 20-16, over the Dragons, who are 11th on the ladder. The Titans’ other two wins came 8-6 against the #15 Wests Tigers and 20-18 over the Warriors, who are 13th on the ladder.
Aaron Boone (knee) will be out for the Titans, who, to be honest, played well despite a 32-14 loss to Melbourne last week. It’s kind of the theme for the season for Gold Coast, who lost by just four points to Brisbane, eight to the Sharks, 14 to Penrith, and six to Parramatta – some of the top teams in the NRL this year.
Manly Preview
Manly is a weird club. They won four of five in June-July to play themselves into finals contention, only to go on a three-game losing streak at the most important time of the season. Losing to Parramatta and Sydney is nothing to feel bad about, but the Sea Eagles dropping a 20-6 match against the #11 Dragons on July 22nd is borderline unacceptable.
The Sea Eagles still have some solid value on Sunday, if anything, because Jason Saab has gotten red hot with five tries in his last four games. Saab also has five tries in his career vs. Gold Coast, so at the very least, he is a prop bet option for the weekend.
Titans vs. Sea Eagles Pick and Prediction
It’s hard to go against Manly in this weekend’s round 22 betting predictions. The Sea Eagles don’t necessarily instill confidence in themselves; it’s just that Gold Coast has been so bad during their 10-game losing streak.
You also have to take into account the three-game win streak that Manly has in the head-to-head series, victories that have come by an average of 25 points. The Sea Eagles’ consecutive wins have come by 36, 32, and 8 points, so -6.5 should be doable.
Final Score Prediction: Gold Coast 18 – Manly 38
Pick: Manly -6.5
