NASCAR Xfinity Series: Shriners Children’s 200 Betting Analysis and Prediction

Parker Kligerman started in pole position after rain canceled qualifying, but it was Joe Gibbs Racing-Toyota’s Ryan Truex starting from 12th on the grid, who won each stage and led 124 laps to land on Victory Lane at the A-Game 200. After a shock winner in Dover, the Xfinity Series heads to Darlington for its Spring visit, with a couple of Cup Series regulars in as the betting favorites.

We’ll review the NASCAR Xfinity Series stats and recent results at Darlington and make our picks in our Shriners Childrens 200 betting analysis and prediction.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series has run races at Darlington since the inaugural season in 1982, with a roster of stock car racing legends as winners, including Mark Martin, Jeff Burton, and current Cup Series regulars Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Chase Elliott, and Brad Keselowski amongst other familiar names.

Three drivers confirmed to compete in the 2023 Shriners Children’s 200 who have won at Darlington.

Stewart-Haas Racing-Ford’s Cole Custer won in 2019 after Denny Hamlin was disqualified.

JR Motorsports-Chevorlet’s Brandon Jones won the Fall 2020 race at Darlington for Joe Gibbs Racing-Toyota.

Jones’ JR Motorsports teammate Justin Allgaier has back-to-back Spring wins at Darlington, winning the 2021 and 2022 Spring races.

NASCAR Xfinity Series: Shriners Children’s 200 Betting Preview

Whenever a Cup Series regular competes on Saturday, they instantly become the favorite for NASCAR Xfinity Series picks. This weekend at Darlington is no exception.

Kyle Larson of Hendrick Motorsports is a Cup Series race winner in 2023, making his first Xfinity Series appearance this season, driving for Kaulig Racing-Chevrolet. Larson is a weekly favorite on the Cup series, so it’s no surprise he is the betting favorite to win Saturday’s Xfinity Series race at Darlington.

Current Cup Series Drivers’ Championship leader Ross Chastain is set to make his second Xfinity Series start of the season for DGM Racing. Chastain finished 24th at Fontana earlier this season.

Chevrolets dominate our Shriners Childrens 200 betting favorites.

JR Motorsports Josh Berry is coming off his fifth top-five finish of the season. Berry’s teammate Justin Allgaier finished third at Dover, his fifth top-five finish this season, and has won the previous two Spring races at Darlington.

Current Xfinity Series points leader Richard Childress Racing’s Austin Hill finished fourth at Dover – his fourth top-five and seventh top-ten finish this season.

Joe Gibbs Racing’s John H. Nemechek is one of two Toyota drivers we think can win at Darlington this weekend. Nemechek scored his fifth top-five finish at Dover.

We also like Nemechek’s teammate Sammy Smith as a long shot.

Stewart-Haas Racing’s Cole Custer is the only Ford we see having a chance. Custer is a previous winner and scored his fourth top-ten finish this season at Dover.
