The NASCAR series’ like to spice things up and challenge the drivers’ skills in different ways, and over three weeks, each series’ drivers have faced sweeping Silverstone-esq esses, ovals, and, now, onto the dirt.
A couple of NASCAR Cup Series regulars will be joining the Truck Series on Saturday in Bristol, lining up against last week’s SpeedyCash.com 250 winner Carson Hocevar and Ty Majeski, who currently leads the Drivers’ Championship NASCAR standings.
In our Weather Guard Truck Race on Dirt betting preview, we’ll review the recent results, NASCAR odds, and driver history on dirt.

NASCAR Truck Series Weather Guard Truck Race on Dirt Recent Results
Since Bristol has moved to a dirt surface, there have been two Truck Series races on the NASCAR schedule, and there is only one previous winner in the field this season.

NASCAR Truck Series Weather Guard Truck Race on Dirt Betting Preview
We start our Nascar Truck Series predictions with last year’s winner ThorSport Racing – Ford’s Ben Rhodes, who has to receive consideration as your pick to win on Saturday, with four top-ten finishes this season. In two races on the dirt since February 2020, Rhodes has one win, two top-five finishes, an average starting position of 5.5, and an average finishing position of 1.5.
Clearly, Rhodes likes it dirty and has to be a pick to win and finish in the top five at Bristol.
2022 NASCAR Cup Series Drivers’ Champion Joey Logano joins the Truck Series, driving for ThorSport Racing – Ford in Bristol and is at the top of the betting favorites.
Logano only has one Truck Series dirt race under his belt, but he is someone you have to favor this weekend as he has shone on the dirt surface at Bristol. Logano scored pole position and finished sixth in his only Truck Series appearance on the dirt while winning the inaugural Cup Series dirt race at Bristol and scoring two top-five finishes in two appearances.
Cup Series Regular Chase Briscoe and Truck Series Drivers’ Champion Contender McAnally-Hilgemann Racing – Chevrolet’s Christian Eckes have both earned a top-five finish in their race on the dirt surface at Bristol and are contenders to win this weekend.
Last weekend’s winner in Texas, Niece Motorsports – Chevrolet’s Carson Hocevar, has one top-five finish in two appearances at Bristol with an average finishing position of 11.5.
Zane Smith (Front Row Sports – Ford) is no longer leading the Drivers’ Championship after finishing 14th last weekend. We’re fading Smith this weekend, who, in two dirt surface starts, has two top-ten finishes and an average finishing position of 8.5.
We’re also facing current championship leader Ty Majeski this weekend, who finished 21st in his only run on a dirt surface.
