Toronto Raptors finally got one over on Philadelphia 76ers in Game 4. The Raptors for the first time in the series were able to do two things: 1. Toronto held the 76ers to under 50 percent shooting from the field. Secondly, the Raptors were able to make 10 more trips to the free-throw line than Philadelphia. When it comes to how to bet on NBA, these two things don’t appear likely to continue.
Sports betting guides show that 95.1 percent of the time NBA teams take a 3-1 series lead, they end up advancing to the next round. Only 13 teams have successfully recovered from such a deficit to advance or win the championship. Philadelphia, however, will want to make sure this series doesn’t approach a Game 7. The 76ers will be eager to close the show in Game 5 at home. Let’s take a look at Raptors at 76ers Betting Analysis.

Toronto Betting Analysis
Betting stats NBA show that Toronto looked much better with center Scottie Barnes back in the lineup. Barnes, who missed the second and third game with an injury, pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds. Having Barnes back forced 76ers starting center Joel Embiid to have to work on both ends of the floor.
With Barnes back on the court patrolling the paint, things opened up for everyone else. Forward Pascal Siakam scored 34 points, grabbed eight rebounds and handed out five assists.Gary Trent Jr. also added 24 points and Thaddeus Young had 13.
The Raptors did take a devastating blow in Game 4. Star guard Fred VanVleet had to leave the game with an injury after scoring five points in 15 minutes of play.
Philadelphia Betting Analysis
The 76ers were unhappy in Game 4 with what they deemed to be poor officiating. Embiid was so unhappy he was seen sarcastically applauding the officials as he was leaving the court after the final whistle. Embiid still had a strong game, but fell short of his usual double-double pace, scoring 21 points and grabbing eight rebounds.
What hurt Philadelphia was some of the supporting players regressing to the mean. Tyrese Maxes, who had scored 80 points in the first three games, was limited to 11 in Game 4. The 76ers were also not as effective on the glass, being outrebounded 46-41 and were outscored in the paint 42-38.
From a defensive perspective, things weren’t bad for Philadelphia. The 76ers limited Toronto to 23.5 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 42 percent from the field. Philadelphia would end up committing too many fouls.

Raptors at 76ers Betting Prediction
Philadelphia saw some regression on offense during Game 4, but that shouldn’t be read into too much. The Raptors were playing with their season on the line in front of a raucous home crowd. It would have been surprising had Toronto not split the two games at home. But the question is can the Raptors empty the gas tank and do it again?
VanVleet’s injury is a major concern. Even if he does play, having VanVleet, who is a deadly 3-point shooter, limited in any way will hurt Toronto’s offense. While the Raptors were able to win without him playing for much of Game 4, repeating that effort in Philadelphia is a lot to ask.
The 76ers have found a way to integrate James Haden into their offense and appear to be a team that can seriously make a run at the NBA Finals. Dispatching Toronto in five will be important to try and keep pace with the Miami Heat, which will have the opportunity to close out the Atlanta Hawks in the next game. Expect Philadelphia to close this one out in style and cover the spread.
Bet the 76ers -7.5.
