Let’s see which teams are the ones to consider on this takes the win on this Week 4 NCAA Football Parlay.
Week 4 of the college football season is about when we start to learn about teams. Most teams have gotten out of the cupcake portion of their schedule and have been challenged at least once.
So let’s see if we can find a few games to parlay for a big payday.
Week 4 College Football Parlay
For those new to betting, a parlay is a combination of multiple betting lines rolled into one bet. All of the selected betting lines must hit in order for the bet to be considered a winner. The combining of multiple outcomes produces longer odds and, therefore, a higher payout in the event of a win.
Missouri Tigers -1.5 at Boston College Golden Eagles
Let’s start it off with the Missouri Tigers covering on the road against a Boston College team without their starting quarterback. Boston College has a Sagarin strength of schedule of 222 tied to their 3-0 start, which is why this line is likely only 1.5-points on Sportsbook.
This matchup has gained some interest in the news, with both coaches giving some quality soundbites during the week. Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz commented on not being particularly fond of the travel to Boston for the game, while Jeff Hapley quipped back that his team would play whenever and wherever. I love the tenacity from Hapley, but the Tigers should be too much here.
Kentucky Wildcats -5 at South Carolina Gamecocks
Kentucky is 1-0 against the SEC to start the year with a big win over Missouri and gets a weak Gamecocks squad in Columbia. South Carolina had a tough draw against Georgia last week. Despite a close one with Chattanooga in Week 3, the Wildcats should run the ball well and limit SC.
Luke Doty is back to playing for the Gamecocks at quarterback after graduate assistant Zeb Nolan stepped in for the first two games, so it’ll be worth watching how Doty performs against a defense that’s not one of the top two in the country. Kentucky feels like they’ve gotten over a bit of a hump under Mark Stoops so expect a cover by the Cats.
Nebraska Cornhuskers at Michigan State Spartans -4.5
Sparty has already eclipsed their win total from a season ago and just knocked off Miami (FL) on the road. Mel Tucker has Michigan State playing hard behind big performances from running back Kenny Walker.
Nebraska has improved since a brutal loss in Week 0 to Illinois, but not enough to keep up with Michigan State.
Expect Mel Tucker’s group to corral Adrian Martinez and limit his effectiveness with his legs and control the game on the ground. Michigan State keeps their early-season win streak alive and covers.
Total Parlay Line: +582
A quick $10 bet to take home $58 on these three lines. Where could this go wrong? Jeff Hapley could have the Boston College defense geared up and ready to force turnovers. Kentucky could fail to get up for a game that they’re favored in.
Nebraska could show up like the team that played at Oklahoma a week ago and catch the Spartans off guard. Nothing in life is certain, but these picks feel like winners!
