The Chicago Bears will host the Tennessee Titans on Saturday. Both teams are looking to get back on track after missing the postseason a year ago.
The Bears were one of the worst NFL teams in all the National Football League, winning just three games in the season. For the Titans, they went 7-10 a season ago but lost their final seven games of the season.
The Titans finished second in the AFC South, two games behind the Jacksonville Jaguars. Let’s take a look at our Titans vs Bears Betting Picks. Based on the NFL schedule, this should be one of the better NFL matchups this week!

Tennessee Titans vs. Chicago Bears Analysis
Tennessee Titans
Based on the past NFL team standings, the expectations on the Tennessee Titans roster are still strong, but many outside the organization worry this is going to be a team that struggles. The Titans took Pete Skoronski, an offensive tackle from Northwestern, as their top draft pick.
He will hope to keep the Titans quarterbacks on their feet and lead Derrick Henry to open paths. Will Levis, quarterback from Kentucky, was next, and Tyjae Spears, running back out of Tulane, was the third-round pick. Josh Whyle, a tight end from Cincinnati, was also drafted by the Titans.
Looking at the NFL team stats, zhe Titans will start with Ryan Tannehill behind center, but two youngsters await their chance. Malik Willis played some last season, and Levis looks to learn the ropes this season.
Youthful Potential
Tennessee added DeAndre Hopkins, which instantly improved the offense. He will go with Trelyon Burks and Kyle Phillips as the starters. The receiving core is one that looks to be inexperienced outside of Hopkins.
When looking at NFL Player Stats, the Titans were able to get over 1,500 rushing yards from Derrick Henry a season ago, and that’s despite missing a game.
There is no doubt the offense will go through him. In this preseason game, it looks like guys like Tyjae Spears, Hassan Haskins, and Jonathan Ward will get their chance to shine.
Chicago Bears
For the Chicago Bears, the talk is Justin Fields, Justin Fields, and Justin Fields. There are people already giving him winning NFL MVP Odds. Pump the brakes a bit here on a guy that only helped his team win three games a season ago.
The Bears picked up an offensive tackle in the draft that should help the line. Darnell Wright, out of Tennessee, was the 10th overall pick. Gervon Dexter, a defensive tackle out of Florida, was next, followed by Tyrique Stevenson from Miami third.
The Chicago Bears game today will likely not see Justin Fields, which means PJ Walker, Nathan Peterman, and Tyson Bagent should get some looks. The backfield will also look different as gone is David Montgomery, and that means Khalil Herbert will get looks.
Bears’ Road Map
Look for Travis Homer and Rocschon Johnson to get opportunities here. DJ Moore was brought in from Carolina, and he will anchor up a receiving core that could be interesting, with Chase Claypool on the other side.
Chicago will play two more preseason games after this. A trip to Indianapolis followed by a home game with the Bills will finish preseason. The Bears and Packers will meet in Week 1 in Chicago. Following that, the Bears go on the road to Tampa Bay to battle the Buccaneers.
Tennessee Titans vs. Chicago Bears Betting Picks
On one side, this is about proving they are better than many people think they will be. The AFC South is wide open, and there is no reason that the Titans cannot get back to being at the top of it.
On the other side, the Bears coaches know they need to temper expectations and get their players to just play good football. In the end, the NFC North is wide open for them as well.
Barring any late additions to the NFL injury report, this should be a fun game, but the spread seems too much. Taking the Titans to cover this game seems to be the pick, and taking the UNDER as well.
Tennessee Titans vs. Chicago Bears Prediction
If you are making any NFL picks against the spread, look for Chicago to win this game, but too close to call.
- The Bears win this game 17-16 over the Titans, which allows the Titans to cover and the Under to come in as a winner.
