Going into Week 5, we have a lot of information to figure out exactly what teams are going to be instead of what they were expected to be. Whether this is to help you in Fantasy Football or for some prop bets, we are going to highlight three players that should have a great week to have a huge game.
Marvin Jones (WR Jacksonville Jaguars)
With the injury of wide receiver DJ Chark to the Jaguars, Marvin Jones is going to step up and take control of the offense in the receiving game. He will be going up against the Tennessee Titans defense, which is coming off an overtime loss to the putrid New York Jets, so that gives me hope in Jones to be a breakout target here.
In his last game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Jones had just three receptions for 24 yards but has gotten at least eight targets in the first three games of the season and has proven to be Trevor Lawrence’s best weapon. Tennessee is allowing 266.8 passing yards per game, meaning they can be had, and Jones has the skillset to find openings in the defense and get some balls thrown his way.
Jamison Crowder (WR New York Jets)
Crowder finally saw the field for the first time last week as he was recovering from a groin injury and had a good game against the Tennessee Titans as he finished with seven catches on nine targets for 61 yards and a touchdown grab. However, this upcoming game is going to be even bigger as he is getting his legs back from under him and is going up against a brutally bad Atlanta Falcons defense.
The touchdown variable is going to be on Crowder’s side as the Atlanta Falcons are allowing 32 points per game, which is the most in the NFL, and have been struggling in their secondary this season. With the game also being played in London, having an experienced receiver to target will help a young Zach Wilson to make the correct read and get Jamison Crowder the football often.
Stefon Diggs (WR Buffalo Bills)
Having an elite wide receiver talent like Stefon Diggs is going to be a great sign for the Buffalo Bills. They take on the putrid Kansas City Chiefs defense that is 31st in the NFL by allowing 437.8 total yards per game. Diggs is coming off a game against the Houston Texans, where he finished with seven catches on 11 targets for 114 yards (16.3 yards per reception) without finding the end zone.
He, like most of the key offensive weapons for Buffalo, only played one drive in the fourth quarter in that game so expecting more out of Diggs isn’t an outstanding ask. Diggs is one of 13 players with at least 300 receiving yards this season and should be able to get open and find the football in his hands early and often to help Josh Allen do well in this game.
