The Atlanta Braves (34-27) head to Washington to take on the Nationals (23-39) in an NL East affair.
Last Games Records
The Braves are officially back following a sluggish start to the 2022 campaign. Atlanta has won 11 games in a row and is striving towards a comeback in the division, where they currently trail the New York Mets. The Braves are the hottest team in MLB right now and will aim to keep it going in this ball game.
The Nationals have labored for the most part this year. However, they did take two out of three games from the Milwaukee Brewers over the weekend.

Braves at Nationals Betting Analysis
Atlanta Braves Betting Analysis
The Braves are scorching hot right now. They are finally pitching well once again, and the offense has started to find its rhythm.
Atlanta has done a tremendous job of finding ways to win games. Even in close contests, the Braves have been able to prevail.
The Braves are fresh off of a four-game sweep of the Pirates over the weekend. Atlanta limited Pittsburgh to just 10 entire runs throughout the four-game set. Meanwhile, the Braves tallied 22 runs. That is obviously the kind of run differential that is going to win you several games.
Atlanta has a chance to continue their winning ways against a lackluster Nationals team this week. It won’t be easy to pull off a sweep in Washington, but I wouldn’t put it past the Braves, given their recent performance.
Ian Anderson (5-3, 4.53) is the scheduled starter for the Braves on Monday. Anderson hasn’t been great this year, but he has the talent to excel in any given outing despite his lackluster overall numbers.
Washington Nationals Betting Analysis
The Nationals played a decent brand of baseball over the weekend when they took two out of three from the Brewers. It should be noted that Milwaukee had been amid a losing streak before their series with Washington. Nonetheless, the Nats displayed the ability to compete with good teams.
The Nats had also won just once out of their previous four games before facing the Brewers.
But can Washington defeat the red hot Braves?
It obviously will be a challenge. That goes without saying. Washington’s lineup features sluggers such as Juan Soto, Nelson Cruz, and Josh Bell.
So their lineup could provide problems for Ian Anderson on the mound.
Meanwhile, Josiah Gray (6-4, 4.33) is on the mound. Gray, in similar fashion to Anderson, is a pitcher whose numbers don’t tell the full story.
He is better than those numbers indicate and could surprise the Braves with a quality outing on Monday.

Braves at Nationals Betting Preview
As Atlanta continues to soar up the MLB standings, they seem like the obvious pick in this matchup. Bet anybody betting on baseball understands that upsets occur all of the time.
The Nats own home-field advantage and could realistically upset the odds.
So which team should you roll with in this game?

How to Bet on Atlanta Braves at Washington Nationals
This is one of those MLB matchups that could end up surprising bettors. But I can’t recommend betting against the Braves right now.
Yes, Ian Anderson has not pitched to his full potential in 2022. But the young right-hander could turn things around in this start.
Take the Braves as the favorite in this one.
