The NFL season is obviously closing in on the end of the season. The Super Bowl will be here soon, and that means it is time to start looking at draft betting props for the season. The first one we are going to discuss is: “Who Will Be the First Quarterback Selected” prop. Here is our look at the First Quarterback Selected futures:
Caleb Williams -900
The Chicago Bears are on the clock, but plenty of discussion has been made about whether they will keep the pick and take Williams or trade and keep Justin Field as the starting quarterback. Regardless, the Bears are not picking anyone else at #1, and they won’t trade it to another team that wants someone else at #1. Caleb Williams is a massive favorite to be the first pick. The USC signal caller threw for 3,633 yards and 30 touchdowns, with just 5 interceptions on the season.
Drake Maye +450
From North Carolina, Maye has been known as a gunslinger. The quarterback threw the ball 425 times this season and finished with 3,608 passing yards and 24 touchdowns on the season. The Tar Heels struggled a bit late in the season, but his big 6’4 frame is suited for the league.
Jayden Daniels +1000
The LSU signal caller used his legs more than the rest of the top quarterbacks in college football. Daniels finished with 1,1134 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. His passing game was elite as well with 40 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
Michael Penix Jr. +4000
It’s been a long road for the former Indiana quarterback. Now, at Washington, he led his team to the National title game, only to fall to Michigan. Penix Jr. has a strong arm, and used it a ton with over 4,900 passing yards during the regular season.
Bo Nix +9000
Bo Nix led the Oregon Ducks to second in the Pac-12 this season. His pass completion percentage was the best in the nation, at over 77%. Nix completed passes for more than 4,500 yards on the season, with 45 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
JJ McCarthy +15000
What McCarthy did that others on this list did not do – win a national title. He found ways to win, and delivered time after time for the Wolverines. McCarthy did not throw a ton in his final season, as Michigan only needed him for 332 passing attempts and 2,991 yards.
There it is. Caleb Williams is not only the top quarterback selection for the draft, but also the top pick overall. It will be a massive upset if Williams is not the first quarterback selected in the draft. Enjoy the rest of the season, and best of luck with all your NFL Draft betting! Hope you enjoyed our first Quarterback Selected futures!
